Knoxville Attorneys for the Tough Times Every Case is Big, Every Client is Important

Since our founding in 1973, the Butler, Vines & Babb law firm has increased in size, reputation, and results. We are known throughout Tennessee, the region, and the nation for effective trial preparation and client representation

During more than 50 years of practice, we made our mark in the legal community and among our clients as lawyers who never forget the clients they are representing. Our law firm has grown, but our personal attention and commitment to each client has not changed.

Our lawyers treat every case as big and every client as important. Whether you are an individual or a large business, our attorneys will stand by you in even the toughest of times when you are our client.

When you need an attorney immediately, we can help.

We always strive to be where you need us within hours of your call. At client request, our attorneys have arrived at accident scenes in other states before the vehicles were moved. That responsiveness is available throughout our law firm because we know that rapid response can build a stronger case for our client.

When you want personal attention given to your case, we can help.

Our law firm is bigger than it was back in 1973, but we have always maintained a close relationship with our clients. You deserve to have a lawyer who keeps you informed about your case and who is available to answer your questions. When a legal matter is important to you or your business, it is important to us.

When you need a lawyer with trial experience, we can help.

Litigation is complex and demanding. It requires thorough preparation and the ability to think and act quickly. At Butler, Vines & Babb, we work for early settlement of cases, but we will fight for you in negotiations and court when it is in your best interests. The National Board of Trial Advocacy has certified William D. Vines III as a Civil Trial Advocate. Several of our attorneys have been admitted to practice before the highest court in the land: The Supreme Court of the United States of America. At the same time, three of our trial lawyers' experience and skill was recognized by their election to the American Board of Trial Advocates. Because of our expertise and capabilities as trial lawyers, lawyers from the other side often prefer to negotiate and settle rather than take their chances against us in the courtroom.

When you need a law firm that is highly regarded, we can help.

The top ten in each category are listed in a special publication of CityView Magazine each July.

At our law firm, we work hard on every case.

We see every case as a big case. Our diversity of experience (we represent both individuals and corporations) means we understand both sides of a case well – and we fight hard for every client who has retained our services. Butler, Vines & Babb employs a medical doctor and former critical care nurse as medical consultants. They review medical issues in our cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. Very few law firms can provide this type of service.

Areas of Practice Representing Injured People

If you or a loved one has been injured because of someone else's negligence, you have two major concerns: (1) getting the necessary medical care and (2) making sure you have fair and just compensation for your injuries. You focus on healing; the attorneys at Butler, Vines & Babb in Knoxville, Tennessee, can focus on the legal and financial issues.

When you have been injured — physically, financially, or both — you do not need to fight back alone. Contact an experienced lawyer who cares about getting you the fair and just compensation you deserve.
