Butler, Vines & Babb Welcomes New Associate Attorney Kelsey Cantrill

A Knoxville native, Kelsey brings a strong academic background, a passion for the law, and a commitment to serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout East Tennessee.

In May 2026, Kelsey graduated cum laude from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor while simultaneously completing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at LMU. This achievement reflects her dedication, determination, and ability to balance the demands of legal and business studies.

Following graduation, Kelsey successfully passed the Tennessee Bar Examination during the summer of 2026. Her recent swearing-in by the Tennessee Supreme Court officially marks the beginning of her career as a licensed attorney in Tennessee.

At Butler, Vines & Babb, Kelsey will focus her practice on Estate Planning, Business Formation, and Contracts. Her combined education in law and business provides a valuable foundation for helping clients protect their interests, plan for the future, and navigate important legal decisions with confidence.

As someone who grew up in Knoxville, Kelsey is especially excited to begin her legal career in her hometown, serving the community that has played such an important role in her life.
