Maryville Nursing Home Sued for Medical Malpractice

On Dec. 29, 2020, Carolyn Finchum died in her room in Asbury Place nursing home in Maryville. Her daughter has filed a medical malpractice suit claiming wrongful death as a result of the subpar care she was provided. The court filing states that Finchum’s mother suffered from malnourishment, dehydration, infections, delays in care, abuse, neglect, severe pain, and death due to inadequate care.
