Darren V. Berg

darren_bergMr. Berg grew up in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and he attended Harrison-Chilhowee Baptist Academy, the southern Baptist college preparatory academy and boarding school for the State of Tennessee where he graduated valedictorian. Thereafter Mr. Berg attended The University of Tennessee (B.S., summa cum laude, 2001); and The University of Tennessee College of Law (J.D., 2004, magna cum laude, Law Review, Order of Barristers). After law school, Mr. Berg served as a law clerk to presiding Judge Joseph M. Tipton of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals for two years, and thereafter he served as a law clerk to Chief Judge J. Daniel Brien of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee in Memphis.

Mr. Berg focuses his practice in civil litigation, and he has been lead counsel in numerous high profile cases. Mr. Berg also specializes in appellate litigation and has had numerous reported decisions throughout the appellate courts in the State of Tennessee. Mr. Berg has also worked successfully on numerous civil rights cases. Mr. Berg is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Tennessee, and he is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association of Justice.
